I want to extend to you and your family a warm welcome to Bigelow High School. We are the proud home to almost 300 7th-12th grade students and an incredible staff. I hope that the information on our website will provide you with a quick overview of our school and what personalized opportunities we offer our students and parents.
Along with the teachers and staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established by BHS by building strong relationships with parents, students and community. I believe that students are successful when given a safe and nurturing school environment that includes high expectations, excellent instruction, consistent discipline, and a caring atmosphere. I will do my best to provide each student with this type of school experience. In return, I will ask students to make good choices and to show respect for themselves and others.
All of us at Bigelow High School are eager and excited to begin what promises to be the best year ever. This year is going to be amazing as we continue to provide academic experiences for our students that are rigorous, relevant, and help them build relationships while making real-world connections. As your Principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors-teachers, students and parents-are excited to be here! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. My is door is always open and I welcome your input. Please feel free to call or email me to discuss any concerns you might have throughout the school year.
I look forward to working with you as a team to help each student at Bigelow High meet their goals and have a successful school year!
